Rosemary-Oatmeal

This soap has rosemary essential oil, a little lemongrass essential oil, and oatmeal. Rosemary is a Mediterranean shrub. Its name comes from rosmarinus, dew of the sea. It has been used since ancient times as a symbol of love, loyalty and memory. The Grete Herbal says it is used against weyknesse of ye brayne. Ophelia said rosemary is for remembrance. The scent is described as herbaceous, strong, camphorous, with woody-balsamic and evergreen undertones. Aromatherapists say rosemary oil is a stimulant, antiseptic, astringent and antioxidant. They further say it improves poor circulation, eases muscle pains and improves memory, confidence, perception and creativity.
