This soap has tangerine essential oil, spearmint essential oil, and cinnamon leaf essential oil. Citrus trees come from eastern Asia. There can be blossoms and fruit on the tree at the same time! That sort of thing doesn't happen here in Michigan. In the Middle Ages, it was thought oranges cured melancholia. Aromatherapists say tangerine oil is sedative. Spearmint is native to the Mediterranean. It was mentioned in the hieroglyphics dedicated to the god Horus as an ingredient in ritual perfume. Aromatherapists say it brings back childhood joy. Cinnamon is native to Sri Lanka. In India it was considered to be an aphrodisiac and antiseptic. Cinnamon leaf oil is less of an irritant than cinnamon bark oil. Aromatherapists say it relieves tension and invigorates the senses. This soap smell like chewing gum or ribbon candy! My former favorite.
