This soap is made with Eucalyptus citriodora essential oil. Native to Australia, it is cultivated mostly in Brazil, & China (where our's come from). Aromatherapists say it is antiseptic, antiviral, fungicidal, & an insecticide (the "Centers for Disease Control & Prevention" [CDC] recommends this oil, along with [deet], & picaridin [KBR 3023], as a mosquito repellent. They say it "provided protection similar to repellents with low concentrations of [deet]."
